Managed NAND Firmware Engineer(Intern2022届实习生) As Micron’s Managed NAND Firmware EngineerIntern (mNAND固件开发实习生), you will work with an exceptionally talented,passionate core team based in Shanghai, to implement and test cutting-edgefirmware solutions for NAND-based mass storage products in the mobile market.You will also have opportunity to work closely with US based produce engineers,test engineers, application engineers, and Flash memory design engineers, tosolve cross-functional design issues. Responsibilities: Work with firmware engineerto develop structured and clearly commented source code, test and qualify yourfirmware module for integration Ensure relevant technicalinformation is documented, organized, and analyzed; Work with firmware engineerto design unit test case, develop unit test code to make sure each function isvalidated. Work with firmware engineerto tune firmware performance, reliability and power consumption in the systemand the target application Develop new tools andmethods to improve coding, debugging and testing. Qualifications: Graduate students inComputer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related Quick learner with highlevel of self-motivation and dedication; Ability to work and communicateeffectively in a team, able to multitask effectively in fast-paced environment. Excellent logical thinkingability and executive power. At least 3-4 days workingin office, 5 days per week is preferred Thorough understanding ofthe following concepts and principles: Operating system componentsand design Computer systemarchitecture and organization Data structures Embedded programming anddebugging Proficiency in both writtenand spoken English Skills in the following aspects are plus: Excellent grade in school Skill in ARM9, and ARMdevelopment tools and IDE such as Eclipse, and Realview Knowledge of eMMC/UFSprotocol Good understanding of NANDFlash physics & Flash operations Good understanding of SSD/eMMC/UFScontroller and algorithm design Knowledge of SSD/eMMC flashtranslation layer, wear leveling, garbage collection System-level storageperformance/power consumption optimization and Analysis skill Experience in test equipmentsuch as oscilloscopes and logic/bus analyzers Storage system technologyof RAID/Compression/Encryption(TCG, etc.)
