Beijing Geoscience Center (BGC) is one of Schlumberger’s leading centers contributing to the digital transformation of the oil and gas industry. Founded in 2000, BGC is located in the heart of Beijing’s university district, allowing easily accessing young talents and collaborating with many leading universities and research institutions. From its foundation, BGC has expanded from a small center developing answer products for geomechanics to one of the largest software technology centers in Schlumberger, employing about 300 employees from 16 different countries across the planet. The majority of its population are software professionals with Master or Ph.D. degrees, working side-by-side with Petro-technical experts.
